Report A Tag

If you are diligent enough (or lucky enough) to sight a Southwest Monarch Study tagged monarch, we want to know about it! Please email tag@swtag.org with this information:

  • The tag number
  • The date you saw the tag
  • Where you saw it (GPS coordinates or a description of the location)
  • Weather conditions
  • Your name and contact information (telephone or email)
  • How you would like your name to be used: Whole name or first name only. If you prefer to remain anonymous, include your name so we can contact you and tell us not to publicize it.
  • A photograph showing the tag number

If you don't have everything in the list, that's OK. Send as much as you have.

Thank you!
